1. Who we are

DayOut Atlas (“we”, “us”, “the website”) is operated by Ihsan, an independent sole trader based in United Arab Emirates. You can reach us through our contact page.

2. What DayOut Atlas is

DayOut Atlas is a free, informational directory of places to visit and things to do, compiled from public data sources. It is not a booking service, a travel agency, or a seller of tickets, tours, or accommodation. We do not process payments and we are not a party to any booking you make.

3. Accuracy of information

We work to keep listings accurate, but information such as opening hours, prices, facilities, accessibility, and availability can change and may contain errors or omissions. All content is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Always confirm important details with the official venue or provider before you travel or book.

4. Affiliate links, bookings, payments & refunds

Some links are affiliate links to third-party partners (for example tours, hotels, and flights). If you book through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Any booking, payment, cancellation, or refund is a contract solely between you and that third-party provider, governed by their terms and conditions. We do not take payments and cannot issue refunds. Questions about a booking, a charge, or a refund must be directed to the provider you booked with.

5. Third-party websites and widgets

The website links to and embeds content from third parties (such as booking widgets and maps). We do not control that content and are not responsible for it, its availability, or its practices. Your use of it is subject to the third party’s own terms and privacy policies.

6. Intellectual property

The DayOut Atlas name, design, and original written content are ours or used with permission. Place data is compiled from open sources such as OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Commons and remains subject to those sources’ licences; images are used under their respective licences with attribution where required. You may view and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial use; you may not copy, scrape, or republish substantial parts of the database without permission.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website — including attempting to disrupt it, access it in an automated or bulk manner without permission, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website, from reliance on any information on it, or from any booking or experience with a third-party provider. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, except where mandatory local consumer law grants you other rights.
